Tahitian Pearls: Unique Gems Born in the Heart of the Pacific
Tahiti and its islands scattered across the vast Pacific Ocean remain legendary — a true paradise of breathtaking landscapes, crystal-clear lagoons, and a unique, relaxed way of life. Beyond their natural beauty, these islands are world-renowned for one of their greatest treasures: the Tahitian cultured pearl.
For more than forty years, this organic gem has been considered one of the most beautiful jewels produced by a living organism and one of the finest ambassadors of French Polynesia in the world of luxury and high jewelry.

Types of Natural Pearls
There are only two types of natural pearls:
1. Natural (Fine) Pearl
Extremely rare today, as it forms spontaneously in the wild without any human intervention.
2. Cultured Pearl
Created through human assistance inside a pearl oyster. Despite this controlled process, it is still considered a natural pearl, since it forms naturally within the mollusk and is made of genuine nacre.
⚠️ Any pearls marketed under other names are generally imitation or artificial pearls.
Quality Control and Certification
After each harvest, pearls are sent to the pearl farming service in Papeete, where experts carefully measure the thickness of the nacre layer and certify them as authentic Tahitian cultured pearls.
This strict quality control ensures their exceptional durability, beauty, and value on the international market.
✨ A symbol of elegance, nature, and tradition, Tahitian pearls remain among the most sought-after gems in the world, reflecting the mystery and magic of the Pacific islands.
